About SEO Stack
SEO Stack is an SEO analytics platform for SEOs, agencies and marketing teams. It helps users get more from Google Search Console and GA4 data, including long-term data warehousing, query and URL analysis, cannibalisation insights, AI visibility and MCP integrations.
We're looking for a hands-on growth marketer to turn the product's strengths into a repeatable subscription growth engine. SEO Stack's MRR has come under pressure, so this is a high-priority role: we need someone who can find where growth is being lost, make a clear plan and carry it through.

We would rather hear what you are looking for than lose a strong candidate over the range, so tell us in your application.
The role
You'll own the growth strategy and its execution across paid acquisition, creative, tracking, SEO, partnerships and conversion. You'll work directly with the founders, make decisions from evidence, and keep testing until we understand which activities bring in subscribers who stay.
This is a practical role. You should be comfortable setting the strategy, building campaigns, briefing creative, checking tracking and explaining what the results mean.
What you'll do
- Audit our current marketing, subscription funnel and measurement setup. Identify the biggest opportunities and barriers to growth.
- Build and run a focused growth plan, with clear priorities, budgets, hypotheses and measures of success.
- Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across suitable channels such as Google, LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit and YouTube.
- Develop creative strategies for social and paid media: messages, hooks, formats, landing pages and testing plans.
- Brief or produce ads, short-form video, UGC-style content and other campaign assets. Build relationships with creators and assess which content can work organically or as paid media.
- Set up and maintain reliable tracking across GA4, Google Tag Manager, ad platform pixels, UTMs and conversion events. Where appropriate, use server-side or platform conversion APIs.
- Make sure reporting connects activity to meaningful outcomes: qualified visitors, activated trials, paid subscriptions, acquisition cost, payback and retention.
- Improve the journey from first visit through signup, activation, trial and paid subscription. Run landing-page and onboarding experiments.
- Develop lifecycle campaigns for new trials, onboarding, conversion, re-engagement and churn reduction, working with the tools already in place and recommending improvements where needed.
- Use SEO experience to find relevant content and search opportunities, improve organic acquisition and strengthen how SEO Stack is positioned for its audience.
- Explore partnerships, affiliates, ambassadors, communities and customer advocacy as additional sources of qualified signups.
- Report clearly on what is working, what is not, what you have learned and where you recommend putting the next pound of budget.
What we're looking for
- A track record of growing subscriptions or customers for a SaaS or other recurring-revenue product.
- Practical experience planning, launching and optimising paid campaigns across multiple platforms, with deep hands-on experience in at least two.
- Strong measurement skills: GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, UTMs and ad-platform reporting.
- Experience assessing performance beyond clicks and impressions, including conversion rates, CAC, trial-to-paid conversion, payback and retention.
- Good creative judgement and the ability to turn audience insight into clear campaign concepts, copy and briefs.
- Experience improving landing pages, signup flows or onboarding through structured testing.
- A working knowledge of SEO and how organic search contributes to acquisition. Experience with Google Search Console is a strong advantage.
- The ability to make sensible decisions with limited time and budget, prioritise tests and act on the results.
- Clear communication and a willingness to take ownership from idea through to delivery.
Useful additional experience
- Marketing SEO, analytics, martech or other tools sold to SEOs and agencies.
- Reddit Ads, creator partnerships, affiliate programmes or community-led growth.
- Email automation and subscription lifecycle marketing.
- Familiarity with AI visibility measurement, LLM discovery or MCP integrations.
- Working in a small, founder-led team where priorities can move quickly.
What success looks like
In the first 90 days, you will have:
- Established a reliable view of the funnel and a clear growth baseline.
- Identified the biggest constraints on acquiring and converting subscribers.
- Launched a prioritised set of paid, creative, conversion and lifecycle tests.
- Set up useful reporting so we can see which channels and activities contribute to paid subscriptions.
- Presented a practical plan for scaling the strongest opportunities and improving the weaker parts of the funnel.
Over time, success means a stronger flow of qualified trials, more trial users becoming paid subscribers, sustainable acquisition costs and improved subscriber retention.
