Own it

Warehoused under your account, not theirs

Google gives every Search Console property a rolling sixteen month window, and the account belongs to the client. So the single most valuable asset in an SEO agency, the accumulated search history of everything you have ever worked on, is currently rented, expiring and owned by somebody else.

One client property, three years

16 mo

Illustrative, on a property connected in month five. The gap between the two rows is history Google has already destroyed, and it is the part you can never get back.

  • Up to 200 client properties, one account

Thirty on Pro and two hundred on Agency, all warehousing in parallel from the day each one is connected.

  • Backfill, then accumulate

The import takes whatever Google still holds, and everything after that point is kept permanently rather than rolling off the back.

  • Every query and every page

No thousand row cap and no sampling, which stops mattering on a small brochure site and matters enormously on a large ecommerce client.

  • Connect a prospect during the pitch

Warehousing starts on connection rather than on contract, so a property connected during a pitch is already accumulating history before you have signed anything.

Every month you delay connecting a client is a month of their history that Google eventually destroys, and you can never get it back.

Work it

The answers clients pay for, before the meeting

This is the margin section. The analysis you would only ever run for your biggest client, because it takes an afternoon, becomes something you can run for every client on the list, which is a different proposition to saving an hour a month.

Every client on one screen, not thirty tabs

Search Console shows you one property at a time, which is why the question of which client is in trouble this month usually gets answered by the client. With every property warehoused in the same account, the portfolio view is just a query.

Illustrative portfolio. Search Console gives you one property at a time, so the question of which client declined this month has no answer until somebody opens thirty tabs and works it out.

Why traffic dropped, specifically

An agency that can answer this correctly on a panic call is a different category of supplier to one that promises to look into it. Query counting separates the number of things a page is served for from where it ranks for them, and putting both next to the click-through rate is what makes the three causes distinguishable.

Clicks down 31 to 38%. Which one is it?

  • Clicks1,8401,270
  • Impressions94,20099,800
  • Queries served3,4103,720
  • Average position2.82.6
  • CTR1.95%1.27%

Diagnosis

Ranking better, being clicked less

The hardest of the three to spot and the one most stacks get wrong. Impressions are up, the query count is up and the average position has improved, and clicks have still fallen, because the answer is now being given above the result.

What you actually do

Nothing is broken, the click is being taken further up the page. The response is AI visibility work rather than ranking work, and telling a client this correctly on a panic call is the difference between a renewal and a review.

AI Visibility

Illustrative figures. On a clicks chart alone these three are indistinguishable, which is why so many panic calls end in the wrong piece of work.

Winners and losers, before you open the deck

The first question in every client meeting is what went up and what went down, and it takes most agencies two exports and a pivot table to answer it. Queries and pages are segmented by direction with month by month click columns, and the AI insight writes the summary of what moved and why it probably moved.

The winners and losers report in SEO Stack with an AI insight summarising what moved across the period
Winners & Losers

An analyst that has already read every client's data

The AI Assistant sits across the whole warehouse, Search Console and GA4 together, so the questions that normally need a data pull become a sentence. Cannibalisation across the full query set rather than a sample, click forecasting from the property's own historic CTR curves, a click line per subfolder which Search Console cannot build at all, and hybrid questions like which pages rank well and convert badly.

  • Cannibalisation across every query, not a sample
  • Click forecasting from the client's own CTR curves
  • Charts Search Console will not build, i.e. per folder
  • GSC and GA4 in the same question

Prove the work

Evidence, not assertion

Churn very rarely happens because the work was bad, it happens because nobody could prove the work caused the result. Annotations log every change your team makes with a date, a scope and a change type, then sit on every chart in the platform alongside Google's own algorithm update markers.

So when a client's traffic falls during a core update you can show that it was not your deployment, and when it rises after your rewrite you can show that it was. AI Experiments take it further and run a real before and after on a content change, a redesign or a link campaign, with a verdict written against the GSC and GA4 data rather than against an opinion.

Annotations and Google algorithm update markers plotted together across Search Console clicks and impressions in SEO Stack
Your changes in green, Google's updates in grey, on the same timeline as the client's data.

Build on it

Point your own agents at every client's data

Google's Search Console API caps a response at 50,000 rows and stops at sixteen months. The MCP reads the warehouse instead, so a question that touches ten million rows returns ten million rows, and the aggregation and period comparison happen server side, fast enough to sit inside an agent loop rather than time it out.

Portfolio monitoring at scale

List every property, then loop an agent across all thirty running the checks nobody has time to do by hand, on a schedule, every week.

A Slack or Teams SEO agent

Which folders lost the most clicks year on year across our portfolio, answered in the channel, by an agent reading the warehouse rather than a dashboard somebody has to open.

Reporting that writes its own commentary

From the real numbers rather than from a template with the figures dropped into it, which is the difference between a report a client reads and one they file.

Alerting on combinations dashboards miss

AI visibility, algorithm updates and folder level decay watched together, because the interesting signals are almost always a combination rather than a single threshold.

The agencies that win the next few years will not be the ones with the best tool subscriptions, they will be the ones who built something on top of their own client data.

New revenue

Something new to sell

Every other section on this page saves you money. This one makes it. Clients are already asking whether ChatGPT and Gemini mention them, and most agencies have no data and no answer, which is a genuinely rare position to be able to walk into.

AI Visibility and Prompt Research track visibility score, citations, share of voice and sentiment across the models, with prompt level data showing what actually triggers a mention. So it is an add-on retainer line you can price and defend, reported alongside the search data you already send them rather than as a separate subscription with a separate login.

Delegation & workflow

Give a junior one client, not the client's Search Console

Access is granted per property with read or write permissions, and because the data is warehoused in your account rather than queried live, granting it makes no change to the users on the origin Search Console. No new name appears on the client's property, and nobody has to ask them for permission to add a contractor.

Projects and task management sit on the same data, and a task can be tied to an annotation, so the work log and the performance record become the same thing rather than two systems somebody has to reconcile at the end of the month.

  • SEOs, developers, writers and clients, each scoped to what they need
  • Full sub-delegation on the Agency plan without touching the origin account
  • Tasks that convert into annotations, so delivery and evidence are one record

Read and write, set per client property, with the properties somebody has no access to invisible rather than greyed out.

The economics

What this costs per client

Agency owners think in per-client unit economics, so here is the arithmetic rather than a pitch about value.

Pro

$11.67per client property, per month

$349.99 a month for 30 websites, with 60 months of history on every one of them.

Agency

$3.40per client property, per month

$679.99 a month for 200 websites, with 120+ months of history on every one of them.

One subscription, not six

Warehousing, rank tracking, client reporting, project management, content auditing, AI visibility and agent access all sit on the same subscription and the same data. A few things start on Pro, i.e. keyword clouds and project management, and the rest is on every plan.

What it does not replace

This is not a backlink index. Keep Ahrefs or Semrush for link and competitor research, because that is a genuinely different job and anybody telling you one tool does both is selling you something. SEO Stack owns the first-party data layer.

Objections

Before you move a portfolio

Can I add client properties without touching their Search Console account?

You connect a property once through Google's normal authorisation, and from that point everything happens inside SEO Stack. Adding your own team to it afterwards, or giving the client a login of their own, makes no change at all to the users on the origin Search Console account.

What happens to the warehoused data when I offboard a client?

It stays in your account, because it was warehoused under your account rather than theirs. You lose the live connection when the property is disconnected, and you keep everything that accumulated while you had it, which is what turns a two year engagement into a case study you can still show in year four.

Can I give a client read-only access to their own data?

Yes. Team access is set per property with read or write permissions, so a client sees their own property and nothing else, and read-only means they can look at everything without being able to change anything.

Does this replace Ahrefs or Semrush?

No, and it is not trying to. This is the first-party data layer, i.e. your own Search Console and GA4 history, warehoused, analysed and made available to agents. Backlink indexes and competitor keyword databases are a different job and you should keep whichever one you use for it.

Do we get white-labelled client reports?

Not today, so we will not pretend otherwise. What you do get is unlimited export to Sheets, CSV and PDF with no row caps, custom chart exports, and per-property client access so a client can log in and look at their own data through your account rather than through Google's interface.

What happens if we exceed our website count mid-month?

You move up a plan, and the history you have already warehoused comes with you. Nothing is deleted and nothing is re-imported, the allowance simply increases.

Is client data isolated between properties and team members?

Yes. Permissions are set per workspace, and a property somebody has not been granted access to is not listed anywhere in their account. It is not greyed out, it is not visible, it simply is not there.

How long until a newly connected property is usable?

The backfill imports whatever Google still holds, which is normally the previous 16 months, and that is available shortly after you connect. Everything from that day forward accumulates permanently, so the value of the property compounds from the moment it is connected rather than from the moment you first need it.

Does the MCP count against any request limit?

MCP calls are unlimited from the Pro plan, which matters because an agent loop across thirty client properties makes a lot of requests and a metered API would make that unaffordable to run.

Connect your first client. Then the other twenty-nine.

Warehousing starts the moment you connect a property. No Cloud project, no schema, no export job. Connect one client today and by your next reporting cycle you will be holding history Google was going to delete.
